Naast Sound Engineering geef ik ook basgitaar en muziektheorieles. Ik heb de richting docentschap gevolgd en heb ik stage gelopen en lessen gegeven op de Metal Factory (MBO) in Eindhoven. Ik heb een voorliefde voor de hardere muziekstijlen, maar ik heb ook ruim 10 jaar ervaring met het spelen van top 40 songs in coverbands, ik kan dus ook hierover het nodige vertellen! Wat kan ik je bieden? Gefret en fretloos, technieken als fingerstyle, plectrum, slappen, tapping, en theorie waaronder toonladders, noten lezen, en timing, frasering, sound. Tijdens de lessen speel je songs die jij tof vindt, en ga je hiermee bewust te werk om je leerdoelen te behalen. Doordat ik tijdens de lessen opnames maak, krijg je een goed beeld van waar je staat, waar je aan kan werken, het is dan altijd duidelijk is waar je aan toe bent. Ook is er ruimte voor sterke tourverhalen, advies over gear, bassound, opnemen en nog veel meer. Het moet natuurlijk ook leuk blijven! Een persoonlijke klik vind ik bijzonder belangrijk, en daarom bied ik de mogelijkheid tot een vrijblijvende proefles. Apart from sound engineering, I’m also a bass guitar and music theory teacher. I was in an internship at the Metal Factory, Eindhoven and have taught there as well. Preferring the louder genres, I’m also comfortable with top 40 music due to my 10 year experience with cover bands. So I can definitely tell you more about all sorts of music! What can I offer? Fretted and fretless bass, technical stuff like finger style, playing with a pick, slapping, tapping, sight reading, timing, phrasing and sound. The lessons are all about you, so we’ll play the music you like, and systematically learn from it. There’s also toom for advice regarding equipment, bass sound, recording and even stories about life on the road. Lessons should be fun too! I think it’s important that we get along, this is why I offer a non-committal introductory lesson.
